These deeply experiential courses are held in New Mexico at Dr. Low Dog's Medicine Lodge Ranch, in the heart of the majestic Santa Fe National Forest. Clinician’s Case Study Retreat

A rare opportunity, and one of the most rewarding ways to learn how to put your herbal knowledge into practice, the Clinician’s Case Study Retreats are treasured. This course is a requirement for those in our Foundations in Herbal Medicine program looking for the Clinical Herbalist certification.
Over three days, clinicians will get to work with faculty on 20 cases. Each attendee will sign up for five cases (first come, first served), which you’ll be emailed four weeks before the retreat to allow time for study and prep work. Each clinician MUST create at least one formulation for each case, even if they primarily recommend products in the marketplace. During the retreat, clinicians will work with others who have reviewed the same cases and then present to the larger group, where faculty and clinicians may comment and ask questions. We will also make time for nourishing walks in the forest, relaxation by the ponds, and breaking bread with kindred spirits.
